when set up in bridge mode, SSL connections still fail intermittently with various errors as captured in my Linux box. the router wants to install a certificate on my system named mediarouter which seems to be issued by Huawei SSL connections through it intermittently throw not secure warnings
That being said, the firmware seems to be outdated / misconfigured on their part as: So I'm forced to connect to the internet via a rebranded Huawei HG658 V2 VDLS router which has some kind of Orange branded custom firmware (V100R001C300B011).
No matter how many requests I've put in for an upgrade to FTTH, they simply refuse to take my money. My internet provider which is Orange Romania only offers FTTB + VDSL connection where I live.
